Aishath Shamma Ahmed
Supervisor, Client Relations & Business Development

Meet Shamma, known as Shams to her close friends. She’s the kind of person who shows up with purpose, heart, and a spreadsheet. Whether it’s coordinating a last-minute VIP movement or brainstorming how to elevate our client experience, she brings a thoughtful, strategic vibe to everything she touches.
With a background in International Tourism & Hospitality Management, plus an MBA, Shamma isn’t just book smart. She’s people smart. After completing her secondary education, she entered the travel industry through ticketing and pursued a Diploma in Hotel Management in Malaysia. Upon returning home, she joined MACL in cargo operations, where she gained a deeper appreciation for aviation. It was during this time she began to recognize the growing space for women in the field, inspiring her to keep moving forward. She later earned her degree from the University of Sunderland (UK), took on corporate roles in tourism, and eventually found her home at Skytours. While growing with the company, she also completed her MBA.
As Client Relations & Business Development Supervisor, Shamma balances efficient operations with genuine care for people. Whether it’s a client, a colleague, or a hotel rep waiting on a VIP update, she brings her signature calm and clarity to the table. She’s also the creative mind behind our staff profile series (and yes, we’ve waited patiently for her turn).
Her leadership style blends empathy with execution. She believes in open communication, team input, and lifting others as she grows. These values are shaped not just by experience but by the people who’ve inspired her. Shamma credits her parents for their resilience, her husband for nurturing her aviation curiosity, and Amy for guiding her growth into leadership.
When she’s not coordinating client movements, you’ll find her reading, cooking, or recharging through travel and time spent in nature. She aspires to launch a business built on kindness, creativity, and care. To anyone considering a path in aviation or client relations, she says: “Go for it. Don’t let fear hold you back. If you don’t try, you’ll never know what you’re capable of.”
