Meet Nafha, fondly known as Nafko, one of Skytours’ youngest and most promising recruits. Joining the company at just 18 as a Finance Officer, she is now approaching her fourth anniversary with us. Known for her curiosity, kindness, and quiet determination, Nafko’s love for finance stems from her resilience—a quality she deeply admires in her role model, her mother.

Her journey into finance began during a pivotal session with MIRA in her school days, which sparked a newfound confidence and drive. This passion, paired with her tenacity, earned her a promotion within just one year of joining, a remarkable achievement for a fresh and inexperienced recruit. Today, she plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance department, with her determination to grow stronger every day.

A quick learner, Nafko turns challenges into opportunities. To overcome her forgetfulness, she diligently uses notes and reminders, constantly working to improve herself. She admires individuals who are committed to their goals, possess good communication skills, and exude positivity. While her role requires intense focus and often solitary effort, she finds it rewarding when tasks are completed successfully and recognized with positive feedback.

Nafko believes that finance offers immense opportunities for women, and while the path may be challenging, she is a testament to the rewards of perseverance. With the support of a good mentor, encouraging colleagues, and unwavering determination, she aspires to become a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or own her audit firm one day. To her, success means financial independence, especially as a woman, and she dedicates herself daily to learning, growing, and excelling in her field.

Outside of work, Nafko enjoys baking and cooking, and she looks forward to receiving more training and development opportunities to grow further in her career.
